Is Credit Guardian right for me?
Financial health check for your business
Credit Guardian Dashboards give you a complete picture of the financial health, sales and trading patterns in your business, enabling you to make better and more informed decisions
More sales. Less risk
Credit Guardian allows your Sales team to focus on how you should trade with prospects and customers rather than the traditional approach of “should we deal with them?” Account managers will have all of the information before they start the sales process , so the deal can be constructed differently e.g. using a finance deal, staged payments, penalty clauses or money up front = result sales
Working with stable suppliers
Credit Guardian enables you to reduce the risks when you're purchasing goods, services or choosing suppliers.
It allows you to take a look inside a company – at information that's published about its profitability, company size, track record, whether it's part of a group and about payment cycles to existing suppliers. With Credit Guardian at your fingertips, you can make better and more informed choices.
The Customer Dashboard
The Customer Dashboard gives you a unique insight into the trading status of your customers and therefore your own company
The Dashboard is made up of a number of charts. Each chart displays information about a different aspect of your customers’ trading activity. You can see instantly if current debts are at risk, where your business could be over exposed and how quickly you are being paid.
Company information
The Company information tab gives you a breakdown of the people and companies that make up that business; current and past directors, company secretaries, number of subsidiaries, parent company, etc.
Colour Coded
- Credit Guardian uses a “traffic lights” system to differentiate between the risk categories.
- Companies with a poor credit rating (high risk) are displayed in Red
- Companies with average or medium credit ratings are shown in Orange
- Those with high credit ratings (low risk) are highlighted in Green
- Companies where data is either suppressed or not made available are displayed in Blue
Search, Monitor, Analyse
Finding companies that you want to monitor and analyse couldn’t be easier or faster than in Credit Guardian
You can search for companies by hand or by linking to your existing sales and purchase ledgers and use the one-click search facility, to return a list of possible matches within seconds
Credit Risk – Summary
The Summary screen gives you a top-level view of key information about a company. It is colour-coded to give an instant visual indication of potential risk.
You see financial information files at Companies House and can also see how quickly the company is paying its suppliers and whether CCJs have been filed.
Pay Performance
Experian’s Payment Performance Scheme is a membership scheme that involves sharing ledger data each month. In return, you receive monthly updates to the companies you are monitoring that helps you to understand your customers’ payment patterns.
You can compare how you are being paid against other suppliers, diagnose the quickest and slowest payers, identify customers experiencing cash flow problems and help protect against bad debts.
